You can view queue manager connections from the console pane or from a modal window.
In version 11.0 and earlier

View Connections
- To view connections in a modal window, select the checkbox for the queue manager in the viewlet, and select Commands > Connections (modal).
- To view connections in the console pane, select the checkbox for the queue manager in the viewlet, and select Commands > Connections (console).

In the Console pane, a refresh button is available to update the list. You can also use the console pane to filter the list of connections, stop connections, view connection handles, and view connection object properties.

Queue Manager Connections in Modal Window
In the modal window, connections are grouped by Application tag. By default, all connections are expanded to show their individual connection handles.
- Click the down arrow
for a group to collapse its list of connection handles, or click Collapse all to collapse all groups.
- Click the right arrow
for a group to expand its list of connection handles, or click Expand all to expand all groups.
Filter Connections
You can filter console records to find, for example, an application name (in the Application Tag column) or content (such as queue or channel name). See the "Searching for Attributes" section of View object attributes to learn how to use the filter feature.

Stop Connections
Select the checkbox of a queue manager connection to perform an action on it. For example, you can stop one or more connections from here: select the checkbox for each connection, then select Stop Connection(s) on the action menu (Selected menu in 11.2), or click the Stop Qmgr Connection button.
View Connection Handles
Connection handle objects are listed for each connection record. Click to expand each record in the console pane and show the individual connection handles.

To view the properties of connections or connection handles, click the individual records.
You can also view connection properties by selecting the checkbox for a connection and selecting Properties on the action menu (Selected menu in 11.2).

Version 12.x and Later
You can view queue manager connections from the Console panel.
Starting with version 12.0, the Connections (Modal) option has been removed.
View Connections
To view connections in the Console panel, select the checkbox for the queue manager in the viewlet, then choose Commands > Connections(Console)... from the Selected menu.
In the Console panel, you can use the Refresh button to update the connection list, and the Search... field to filter connections, stop connections, view connection handles, and view connection object properties.

You can filter console records to find, for example, an application name (in the Application Tag column) or content (such as queue or channel name). See the "Searching for Attributes" section of View object attributes to learn how to use the filter feature.
Stop Connections
Select the checkbox of a queue manager connection in the Console panel to perform an action on it.
For example, to stop one or more connections: select the checkbox for each connection, then select Stop Connection(s) from the Selected menu, or click the Stop QMgr Connection button.
A confirmation dialog appears — click Yes to continue, or click Schedule to stop the connection at a later time. (See Scheduling.)
