The Cancel Replay option in Solace is used to stop an ongoing message replay process for a selected Queue or Topic Endpoint.
When this option is selected, all client applications currently bound to the object are disconnected.
If some clients cannot be cleanly unbound, the Force Complete option can be used to terminate the replay immediately—though this may cause potential binding issues for the affected queue or topic endpoint later.
Canceling replay stops the delivery of replayed messages and ends the active replay session.
To cancel a replay:
In the Queues or Topic Endpoints widget, select the object for which a replay is in progress.
From the Selected menu, navigate to:
Commands > Cancel Replay. The Cancel Queue Replay dialog opens.
(Optional) Enable Force Complete if you want to forcibly end the replay even when some clients cannot be unbound gracefully.
Click Confirm to cancel the replay immediately, or Schedule to perform the action later.
(See Scheduling Jobs for more information.)The Confirm Action dialog opens.
Click Yes to confirm or Schedule to cancel the replay at a later time.
Once confirmed, the replay process is stopped, and all connected clients are disconnected from the selected queue or topic endpoint.
A success message appears at the bottom of the Console, and the Replay State updates to Completed.
