The Change Status option in Solace allows you to control the incoming and outgoing states of topics and queues.
Turning Incoming or Outgoing on or off helps manage message flow — for example, to temporarily stop message delivery or resume it as needed.
To change the status:
In the Topics or Queues widget, select the object you want to update.
From the Selected menu, navigate to:
Change Status > Turn Incoming On / Off or Turn Outgoing On / Off.The Confirm Change Status action dialog opens.
Click Yes to apply the change immediately or Schedule to perform the action later.

Once the action completes, a success message appears at the bottom of the window.
The Incoming or Outgoing status updates accordingly — showing true when enabled and false when disabled.
