A Message VPN (Virtual Private Network) enables the secure and independent transfer of messages between connected clients and applications within Solace PubSub+ event brokers.
Before clients can publish or consume messages, the Message VPN must be running and properly configured.
Starting a Message VPN activates its associated messaging resources, allowing clients to connect and exchange messages. To learn how to start a Message VPN, see Start Message VPN.
To stop a message VPN:
In the Message VPNs widget, select the Message VPN you want to stop.
-
From the Selected menu, navigate to:
Status > Stop -
The Confirm Stop action dialog opens.
Click Yes to stop the Message VPN immediately or click Schedule to perform the action at a later time.
(See Scheduling Jobs for more information.)
Once stopped, the Message VPN status changes to Down, and all message activity within that VPN stops until it is started again.
