You can add, delete client certificate rules, conditions, and attributes, as well as modify attributes.

Add Client Certificate Rules, Conditions and Attributes
- Select the Message VPN within the Message VPN widget.
- Click on Client Certificate Rules from the Selected menu. The Client Certificate Rules tab will appear in the Console panel.
Add a Client Certificate Matching Rule
Click the Add Client Certificate Matching Rule button to open the Solace Client Matching Rule dialog.
Enter the required details.
You can name the rule anything meaningful (e.g., your organization’s name).
Click Ok to create the rule.
Add Conditions to the Matching Rule
- Select the checkbox next to the newly created rule in the Console.
- Click Conditions from the Selected menu.
- A new Conditions tab will open.
- Click the Add Condition
button to open the Solace Matching Rule Condition dialog.
- Choose the appropriate conditions from the dropdown menu and click Ok.
Add Attributes to the Matching Rule
- Select the checkbox next to the newly created rule in the Console panel.
- Click Attribute Filters from the Selected menu.
- A new tab will open to configure attribute filters.
- Click the Add Attribute Filter
button to open the Solace Matching Rule Attribute Filter dialog.
- Enter the required details and click Ok.
After creating the Conditions and Attributes, select the client certificate rule and click Turn On from Selected menu to enable the matching rule.
A confirmation dialog will appear; click Yes to enable the matching rule.
You can also disable the rule by clicking Turn Off from the Selected menu.
Modify an Attribute
You can modify the attributes of a Message VPN Client Certificate Matching Rule.
Select the desired Matching Rule and click Attribute Filter from the Selected menu. The Attribute tab will open.
To modify an Attribute filter, select its checkbox and click Edit from the Selected menu.
The Matching Rule Attribute Filter Properties dialog will appear, where you can update the Attribute Name and Attribute Value.
Click Ok to apply the changes.
Delete a Client Certificate Rule, Condition or Attribute
To delete a Message VPN Client Certificate Matching Rule, Condition, or Attribute filter:
Select the checkbox next to the item you want to delete.
Click Delete from the Selected menu.
A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

You can add, delete client certificate rules, conditions, and attributes, as well as modify attributes.

- Select the Message VPN within the Message VPN viewlet.

Add a Client Certificate Matching Rule
Click the Add Client Certificate Matching Rulebutton to open the Solace Client Matching Rule dialog.
Enter the required details.

With the same rule selected, click Attribute Filters from the Selected menu.
A new tab will open to configure attribute filters.
Click the Add Attribute Filter
button to open the Solace Matching Rule Attribute Filter dialog.
Enter the required details and click Ok.
- After creating the conditions and attributes, select the client certificate rule and click Turn On from Selected menu to enable the matching rule.
- A confirmation dialog will appear; click Yes to enable the matching rule.
- You can also disable the rule by clicking Turn Off from the Selected menu.
Modify an Attribute
You can modify the attributes of a Message VPN Client Certificate Matching Rule.
Select the desired Matching Rule and click Attribute Filter from the Selected menu. The Attribute tab will open.
To modify an attribute filter, select its checkbox and click Edit from the Selected menu.
The Matching Rule Attribute Filter Properties dialog will appear, where you can update the Attribute Name and Attribute Value.
