Users can import or export dashboards in .CSV file format.
In version 11.2, to import or export dashboards, select Dashboard > Import / Export Dashboard from the left toolbar. The Dashboards dialog opens.
In version 11.1 and earlier, to import or export dashboards, go to Main Menu > Import / Export > Dashboards. The Import / Export Dashboards dialog opens.
Import Dashboards

On the Import / Export Dashboards dialog, select the Import tab.
- Click Choose File and select the file to import. In version 11.2, you can also drag your file into the boxed area. The name of the file is displayed.
- (Optional.) To change a file that was chosen by mistake, click Change.
- (Optional.) The Override option is useful when exporting dashboards and importing them back into the same repository (for example, to restore previous dashboards). Select the Override checkbox to replace an existing dashboard with the same ID. (The ID is the DictionaryName in the export file; and is generated automatically.) To allow duplicates to be imported when the import file contains records that are not unique, select Import duplicates.
- Click the Import button to start the process.
- Once the import is finished, in versions 11.1 and earlier, a confirmation message will appear. In version 11.2, the imported dashboard is included in the Open imported Dashboards list on the Import tab. To open the dashboard, select its checkbox and click Open.
Export Dashboards
- On the Import / Export Dashboards dialog, select the Export tab.
- Saved dashboards are listed. Select the dashboards you want to export, or click Select All. (In version 11.2 and later, select all dashboards by selecting the checkbox at the top of the first column in the table of dashboards.
- Click Export. The export file is downloaded to your Downloads directory. The exported file is named Dashboards_ followed by the repository and organization name.
