Version 12.x and Later

You can reset the message sequence number for an IBM MQ channel.

1. Select the channel, and then choose Commands > Reset Channel from the channel’s Selected menu.
   
2. The Reset Channel dialog opens. 
   
3. (Optionally.) In the Message Sequence number field, you can specify a sequence number to be used when the channel is started. 
4. Click Ok to reset the channel, or click Schedule to create a task to reset the channel at a specified time (see Scheduling Jobs).

Version 11.3 and Earlier

You can reset the message sequence number for an IBM MQ channel.

1. From the channel’s pop-up menu, select Commands > Reset Channel.  The Reset Channel dialog window appears. 
2. (Optionally.) In the Message Sequence number field, you can specify a sequence number to be used when the channel is started.
