The Observe application enables administrators to analyze real-time monitoring data across systems. It provides tools to visualize activity through an intuitive UI and generate alerts based on defined conditions. With support for real-time computations and notification handling, Observe offers deep insights into system performance and behavior. It also provides REST APIs for seamless integration with external applications, empowering teams to proactively monitor and resolve issues.
To access the Observe:
- Navigate to the Observe via the OIDC Gateway login page, typically accessed from the main management application interface or through a configured shortcut.
- Sign in using your organization credentials. After authentication, you can navigate to the observe using the App Switcher.
The key attributes of the Observe model are described below.
- Overview - Provides a consolidated dashboard to view key monitoring metrics, statuses, and alerts across the Observe application.
- Monitors – Evaluate specific conditions on incoming data to detect anomalies or threshold breaches.
- Alerts – Triggered by monitors when conditions are met, notifying users of significant events.
- Resources –A logical grouping of related data sources or components for targeted monitoring and management.
- Schedules – Define the timing for monitor execution or data processing jobs.
- Notification Policies – Control how and when alerts are delivered based on severity or event type.
