Import AutoPilot Policies into Observe

The Import Policies option allows you to upload policy definitions exported from AutoPilot in JSON format. For information about exporting policies, see How to export/import policies using Enterprise Manager.

To import policies:

1. Click the Import Policies icon in the toolbar.
2. In the upload screen, drag and drop a JSON file or click Browse Files to select a file.
   

3. After uploading, a preview page is displayed:

   • The left panel shows the JSON content.
   • The right panel displays the list of available Monitors, Resource Groups, and Notification Policies included in the file.

   

4. Click Import in the top-right corner to import the items into Observe.
5. After the import is complete, the Import Results page is displayed.
   

Navigate to the respective pages (Monitors, Resources, Notification Policies) to view the imported items. Each imported policy may be transformed into one or more monitors while preserving metrics, rules, and conditions..

Imported items can be identified in the Monitors and Resources pages by the file name displayed under the Tags column.
