The Control Center manages repositories that store and organize data, logs, and configurations related to devices or systems, making it easier to access and maintain critical information.
See the process below to learn how to create, preview, edit, delete, or copy repositories.

Create a Repository
- Select Security
> Repositories from the left toolbar.
- Click the Add icon
. The Repository Create Window opens.
- Complete the following fields:
By default, the system uses the values shown in the below image unless you update them.
| Field Name | Description |
| Repository Name | Name of the repository (mandatory field). |
| Aggregate Retention | Specifies how long data is retained in the repository. |
| Daily Stream Bytes | The maximum number of bytes that can be streamed daily. |
| Max Message Bytes | The maximum size (in bytes) allowed per message. |
| Max Property Value Rollup | Maximum number of property values that can be rolled up. |
| Max Requests | The maximum number of requests allowed (Unlimited by default). |
| Max Tokens | The maximum number of tokens allowed (Unlimited by default). |
| Rate Limit Bytes | The byte limit for rate-limiting purposes. |
| Rate Limit Count | The maximum number of requests allowed within a rate-limit window (Unlimited by default). |
| Retention | Specifies the retention period for data. |
| Overage Policy | Defines how to handle overages (e.g., Throttling). |
- Click Save to create the repository.
Preview a Repository
- Select the checkbox next to a repository.
- Click Preview in the Selected menu.
- Review the repository details displayed in the preview window.
- Click Close to exit the preview window.
Edit a Repository
- Select the checkbox next to a repository.
- Click Edit in the Selected menu.
- Follow the steps in Creating Repositories to modify the repository.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Delete a Repository
- Select the checkbox next to a repository.
- Click Delete in the Selected menu.
- In the Delete Confirmation dialog, click Yes, Delete to confirm or No, Keep to cancel.
Copy a Repository
- Select the checkbox next to a repository.
- Click Copy in the Selected menu.
- Modify the repository details as needed (follow the steps in Creating Repositories to modify the repository.
- Click Save to create the copied repository.
