How to navigate the meshIQ Software Repository

The online meshIQ Software Repository is where you can download files for all our products. You can find product installation and hot fixes, as well as links to documentation, including release notes and installation instructions.

Accessing the meshIQ Software Repository

The meshIQ Software Repository is located at data.meshiq.com. It is accessed via SFTP protocol and is password protected. If you do not know your login credentials, please contact your Support representative. Use one of the following methods to connect:

Method 1:  Web browser

Click the following link. A logon screen displays. Enter your username and password.

Method 2:  FTP client tool

Use an FTP client tool such as FileZilla or WinSCP. When setting up the connection, use the following configurations:

  • Protocol:  SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
  • Host:  data.meshiq.com
  • User and password:  specify your login credentials 

Method 3:  Command prompt

Use a command prompt to connect to data.meshiq.com via SFTP protocol. For example, enter the following command and replace "user" with your username. Enter your password when prompted.

sftp user@data.meshiq.com

meshIQ Software Repository Contents

The meshIQ Platform (Versions 11 and later)

When you are logged into the meshIQ Software Repository, select the AP6 directory. You can find meshIQ Platform content in the following directories:

meshIQ Platform

The meshIQ Platform directory contains subdirectories for each released version of the platform (version 11.0 is the first version).  Within each version are packages for individual components of the meshIQ platform, such as Core Services, Data Services, Manage, Observe, and Track.

Deployment Pack/meshIQ Platform

The meshIQ Platform subdirectory of the Deployment Pack directory contains the deployment packs that are currently available for the platform. 

  • To add a Grafana integration to an existing meshIQ installation, choose the DSX deployment pack.
  • If you're using the meshIQ Platform for basic management and monitoring, choose the Simple deployment pack.

AutoPilot, Navigator, and XRay (Versions 10.5.x and earlier)

When you are logged into the meshIQ Software Repository, select the AP6 directory. You can find content for AutoPilot, Navigator, and XRay (Versions 10.5.x and earlier) in the following directories.

AutoPilot-M6

Includes the following sub-directories. Both directories include downloadable product and documentation files.

ap-m6-core

Contains AutoPilot M6 content. See the AutoPilot release notes.

packages

The most recent installation packages are located in the packages directory. Here you'll also find an Older_Releases directory with older packages in it.

For installation instructions, look for the install.htm files within the admin and domain subdirectories of each package.

plugins

AutoPilot Plug-ins are located in this directory. For documentation on plug-ins, refer to the AutoPilot M6 Documentation Library.

service updates

Service updates 30.7 and later are found in the service_updates directory. Previous updates are located in the SU2xx subdirectory.

For installation instructions, open the *.txt file that has the same name as the *.pkg file you are installing.

ap-m6-wmq

Recommended for existing Navigator customers.

Contains a directory for each major Navigator release.

Within each directory, find the following:

  • The [version]_Nav_Components_package.txt and [version]_Server_package.txt files contain descriptions of the EFIX and Server directories.

  • The EFIX directory contains a subdirectory for each platform for which an e-fix or hot fix is available.
    1. Open the directory for the platform on which you want to install Navigator.

    2. Download the compressed .tar or .zip file. (You can use the column headers to sort the files by name, date, or size.)
    3. To find the URL for the online release notes, which contain installation instructions, open the corresponding text (.txt) file.
  • The Server directory contains zipped (.zip) server files. To find the URL for the online release notes, which contain installation instructions, open the corresponding text (.txt) file.

Deployment Pack

Deployment packs are recommended for new Navigator and XRay customers.

Contains product downloads in easy-to-install deployment pack formats.

Navigator

Contains the current Navigator deployment pack and a subdirectory for older Navigator deployment pack versions.

NavigatorX

Deployment packs that contain Navigator, XRay, and AutoPilot.

Scripts

Current and prior versions of Scripts (used in the deployment packs)

XRay

Contains the current XRay deployment pack and a subdirectory for older XRay deployment pack versions. See also the XRay Deployment Pack release notes article.

XRay

Recommended for existing XRay customers. See https://data.meshiq.com/AP6/XRay/.

Find product and documentation files for individual XRay releases within this directory. For release notes for individual releases, see XRay Release Notes.
