The Browse Home Cache Cluster option in a Solace Cache Cluster allows you to view, add, or remove the home cache cluster assignments configured for a distributed cache setup.
The Home Cache Cluster in Solace identifies the cache cluster that serves as the authoritative source for specific cached topics. It is the primary location where those topics are stored and maintained. Other cache clusters retrieve data from the home cluster to ensure consistency across the distributed caching environment.
Browse Home Cache Cluster
To view the home cache clusters configured for a cache cluster:
In the Cache Cluster widget, select the cache cluster you want to manage.
From the Selected menu, click Browse Home Cache Cluster.
A new tab opens in the Console displaying the list of home cache clusters configured for the selected cache cluster.
To add a new home cache cluster, refer to the instructions below.
Add a Home Cache Cluster
To add a new home cache cluster:
While browsing home cache clusters in the console, click the Add Home Cache Cluster
button.
The Solace Cache Cluster Home Cache Cluster dialog opens.In the Home Cache Cluster field, enter the cluster name you want to assign.
Click the + button to add the entry. Repeat this step to add more home cluster entries as needed.
Click Ok to create immediately or Schedule to apply at a later time

The new home cache cluster appears in the list once created.
Delete a Home Cache Cluster
To remove a home cache cluster assignment:
While browsing home cache clusters in the console, select the entry you want to delete.
From the Selected menu, choose Delete.
A Confirm Delete Action dialog opens.
Click Yes to delete immediately or Schedule to delete later

Once confirmed, the selected home cache cluster entry is removed.
