The Browse Topic option in a Solace Cache Cluster allows you to view, add, or remove the topics configured for caching. These topics determine which published messages the cache cluster stores and serves to clients. Managing cached topics ensures that only the required subjects are cached and helps maintain efficient cache operations.
Browse Topics in Cache Cluster
To view the topics configured in a cache cluster:
In the Cache Cluster widget, select the Cache Cluster you want to manage.
From the Selected menu, click Browse Topic.
A tab opens in the Console, displaying the list of topics currently configured for the selected cache cluster. To add a new topic, refer to the instructions below.
Add a Topic to Cache Cluster
To add a new topic to the cluster:
While browsing topics in the console, click the Add Topic
button. The Solace Cache Cluster Topic dialog opens.
In the Topic field, enter the topic string you want to cache.
Click the + button to add the topic. Repeat this step to add more topics as needed.
Click Ok to create immediately or Schedule to create at a later time. (See Scheduling Jobs for more information.)
The new topic appears in the list once created.
Delete a Topic in Cache Cluster
To remove a topic from the cluster cache:
While browsing topics in the console, select the topic you want to delete.
From the Selected menu, choose Delete.
A Confirm Delete Action dialog opens.
Click Yes to delete immediately or Schedule to delete later. (See Scheduling Jobs for more information.)
Once confirmed, the topic is removed from the cluster.
