Is it possible to configure a cipher that is not included in the default list in Navigator/Manage?

Yes, Navigator/Manage provides the ability to configure a custom SSL cipher that is not part of the default list. This can be done in two ways:

1. Via Remote Connections

  1. Open the Add/Change Remote Connection dialog and go to the SSL tab.
  2. Select the "CUSTOM" option from the Cipher specification dropdown. An empty input field will be enabled below.

  3. Manually enter the desired cipher name.

2. Via Channel Properties: 

  1. Go to the Channel viewlet, select a channel, and choose Properties from the Selected menu.
  2. The Channel Properties window opens. Go to the SSL tab.
  3. Choose "CUSTOM" from the Cipher specification dropdown. An empty input field will be enabled below.
  4. Enter the custom cipher for the listening channel. 

This allows you to use ciphers that are compatible with your security requirements but are not listed by default in Navigator/Manage.
