Yes, Navigator/Manage provides the ability to configure a custom SSL cipher that is not part of the default list. This can be done in two ways:
1. Via Remote Connections
- Open the Add/Change Remote Connection dialog and go to the SSL tab.
- Select the "CUSTOM" option from the Cipher specification dropdown. An empty input field will be enabled below.
Manually enter the desired cipher name.
2. Via Channel Properties:
- Go to the Channel viewlet, select a channel, and choose Properties from the Selected menu.
- The Channel Properties window opens. Go to the SSL tab.
- Choose "CUSTOM" from the Cipher specification dropdown. An empty input field will be enabled below.
- Enter the custom cipher for the listening channel.
This allows you to use ciphers that are compatible with your security requirements but are not listed by default in Navigator/Manage.
