View, Create, Modify, and Delete Solace Remote Message VPNs

The functionality described in this article is available in the meshIQ Platform versions 12.1 and later.

You can view, create, modify, and delete Remote Message VPNs from the Solace Bridge
Before creating Remote Message VPN, click here to learn how to create a Solace Bridge.

View Remote Message VPNs

  1. Select the check box for the Solace bridge.
  2. Click the Selected menu.
  3. Choose Remote Msg Vpns....

A list of Remote Message VPNs is displayed in the Console panel.

Create a Remote Message VPN

  1. Click the Add Remote Msg Vpn button in the Console panel to open the Solace Bridge Remote Msg VPN dialog.
  2. Enter the Message VPN Name and Message VPN Location (required).
  3. Provide any additional necessary details.
  4. Click Ok to create the remote Message VPN immediately, or click Schedule to create it at a later time (see Scheduling for details).

Modify a Disabled Remote Message VPN

You can modify a disabled Remote Message VPN using the steps below.

You cannot edit an active Remote Message VPN. Disable it before proceeding.

  1. Select the checkbox next to the disabled Remote Message VPN.

  2. Click Edit from the Selected menu.

  3. The Solace Bridge Remote Msg VPN Properties dialog will open. Update the necessary fields.

  4. Click Ok to save the changes immediately, or click Schedule to apply them at a later time (see Scheduling for details).

Delete a Disabled Remote Message VPN

You can delete a disabled Remote Message VPN using the steps below.

  1. Select the checkbox next to the disabled Remote Message VPN.

  2. Click Delete from the Selected menu.

Version 11.3 and Earlier

View Remote Message VPNs

  1. Select the check box for the Solace bridge.
  2. Click the Action menu (Selected menu from v11.2 onwards).

  3. Choose Remote Msg Vpns....

Create a Remote Message VPN

  1. Click the Add Remote Msg Vpn SolaceMsgVPNAdd.png button in the Console panel to open the Solace Bridge Remote Msg VPN dialog.
  2. Enter the Message VPN Name and Message VPN Location (required).
  3. Provide any additional necessary details.
  4. Click OK to create the remote Message VPN immediately, or click Schedule to create it at a later time (see Scheduling for details).
