A Remote Subscription in a Solace Bridge defines which messages are forwarded across the bridge from one Message VPN to another. It acts as a topic filter on the bridge, attracting only messages from the remote broker that match the subscription and delivering them to the local broker. This mechanism ensures that only relevant message flows cross the bridge, supporting distributed deployments, data replication, and inter-VPN communication.
