When running multiple instance queue managers or RDQM, one of the queue managers is the active one and any changes will be replicated to the others automatically. Nothing special is required to manage them. When running with agents, the active queue manage will connect automatically and if it switches to another, the connection will break and another agent will pick it. When connecting remotely, you can use a connection string with each of the queue managers defined and similarly it will automatically connect to the currently active instance. Users will only see the active instance and will be unaware of what the exact instance it is.
