You cannot create AMQP channels on z/OS resource addresses.
This article contains instructions for creating a channel.
- Within a Channel viewlet, click the Add
button to create a new channel. The Select object path window opens.
- Specify the channel’s path and select its subtype from the drop-down menu.
- Click Select path. The Channel Create Window opens.
- Specify the channel’s properties. You can also create your own custom properties on the Custom Attributes tab.
The tabs of the Channel Create Window differ according to the channel’s type. Consult IBM documentation for the descriptions of channel properties:

- Click OK to save the new channel.

- Click Ok to create the new channel immediately, or click Schedule to create it at a later time (see Scheduling).
