Add Visual Widget Permission in License - Overview

This article explains how the Add Visual Widget permission in license controls whether users can add visual widgets and temporary visual widgets in built-in (OOB) perspectives and create visual widgets, temporary visual widgets in Manage.

  1. When Add Visual Widget = True (Permission Enabled) in license. Users can perform the following actions without restrictions.
  • Add multiple visual widgets and temporary visual widgets in a Built-in (OOB) Perspectives.
  • Add multiple visual widgets.
  • Create multiple temporary visual widgets using Create Temporary Using Search.


     
  1. When the Add Visual Widget = False (permission is disabled) or the Add Visual Widget permission is unavailable:
  • Users cannot create visual widgets or temporary visual widgets in built-in (OOB) Perspectives.
  • Users cannot create temporary visual widgets using Create Temporary Using Search.
  • Users can create up to two visual widgets. After reaching the limit, the system blocks additional visual widgets and displays an authorization message.
