The Browse Queue Bindings option allows you to view, add, modify, or remove queue bindings directly from the console. Queue bindings in a Solace REST Delivery Point (RDP) define how messages from Solace queues are forwarded to REST endpoints. Each binding includes configuration settings such as the queue name, POST request target, request target evaluation mode, and authority-replacement rules.
Browse Existing Queue Bindings
In the RDP widget, select the RDP you want to manage.
From the Selected menu, click Browse Queue Bindings.
The Queue Bindings tab opens, displaying all existing bindings for the selected RDP. To add a new queue binding, refer to the instructions below.
Add a New Queue Binding
In the Queue Bindings tab, click the Add Queue Binding
button.
The Solace RDP Queue Binding Properties dialog opens.

Enter the required details:
Queue Binding Name – Enter the Solace queue name to bind.
Post Request Target – Specify the REST endpoint path where messages will be posted.
Request Target Evaluation – Provide an evaluation expression, if required.
Replace Target Authority – Choose True or False depending on whether the authority should be overridden.
Click Ok to create the queue binding immediately or Schedule to apply it later.

Once created, the new queue binding appears in the Queue Bindings tab with its configured settings.
Browse Request Headers
To view the request headers configured for a queue binding:
While browsing Queue Bindings in the Console, select the binding you want to inspect.
From the Selected menu, choose Browse Request Headers.

A new tab opens in the Console, displaying the list of request headers associated with that queue binding, including:
Header Name
Header Value
This helps you verify the custom headers applied to outgoing REST requests.
Delete a Queue Binding
While browsing Queue Bindings in the Console, select the binding you want to delete.
From the Selected menu, choose Delete. The Confirm Delete Action dialog opens.
Click Yes to delete the binding immediately or Schedule to delete it later.
