A Queue Subscription in Solace allows a queue to receive messages published to one or more topics that match its subscription patterns.
By adding subscriptions, you can control which messages are delivered to a queue based on topic filters, helping to route and manage message flows efficiently.
Browse Existing Subscriptions
In the Queues viewlet, select the queue for which you want to view subscriptions.
From the Selected menu, navigate to:
Browse Objects > Browse Subscriptions.-
The Subscriptions tab opens in the console, displaying the list of topic subscriptions configured for the selected queue.
If no subscription exists, follow the steps below to add one.
Add a New Subscription
In the Subscriptions tab, click the Add
button.
The Solace Queue Subscription dialog opens.In the Topic field, enter the name of the topic you want to subscribe to.
Click the
button to add the topic to the list. You can add multiple topic subscriptions as needed.
Click Ok to create the subscriptions immediately, or Schedule to perform the action later.

Once added, the new subscriptions appear in the Subscriptions tab, showing their topic names and associated queue.
Messages published to matching topics will now be delivered to the queue.
Delete a Subscription
While browsing subscriptions in the console, select the topic subscription you want to delete.
From the Selected menu, choose Delete.
The Confirm Delete Action dialog opens.Click Yes to delete the subscription immediately, or Schedule to delete it later.

Once deleted, the subscription is removed from the queue, and messages published to that topic will no longer be delivered to it.
