The Save Messages tab located on the Settings window is used to configure the saving of messages when they are exported from a queue into a file.
The Save Messages tab is available in both the User Settings and Initial User Settings.
- User Settings – Personal preferences specific to the logged-in user.
- Initial User Settings – Default settings are applied to new users when they log in for the first time or when an existing user restores their settings by clicking the Restore Initial Settings button. Only users with elevated permissions (Admins) can modify these settings.

| File Creation | Defines how exported messages are written to files. Write All Messages to Single File: All exported messages are saved in one file. Write Each Message to Separate File: Each message is saved in its own individual file. |

Defines the criteria for choosing which messages to export.

| Message Delimiter | Specifies the delimiter used to separate messages when exporting multiple messages to a single file. Options include: Lf, CrLf, Tab, Ft, and Specify Delimiter String. If you select Specify Delimiter String, use the Message Delimiter String field to define your own custom delimiter. |
| Message Delimiter String |
Allows you to enter a custom delimiter string that will be inserted between messages in the exported file. Examples: Use this field only if you selected Specify Delimiter String as the Message Delimiter option. |

Specifies the type of message content to be saved.

| Data Offset | Sets the starting byte (offset) from which data should be read and saved. Default is 0. |

When you select Specify Delimiter String, a text field appears where you can enter any custom string (e.g., ###END###, ---, etc.) to be inserted between messages in the exported file. |
