On the Environment Level tab located on the Global Settings window, administrators can help users identify which environment they are using by adding a label next to the logo, as shown below. You must have the Manage Environment Level right to perform the actions described in this article.
To turn on the label, select the Display Environment Level checkbox on the Environment Level tab.
You can format this label whether or not it is currently turned on. Use the Environment Level Properties dialog to define a set of colors for the label for each environment, including text, optional text outline, and background color.
To format the label:
- From the Set Environment Level dialog, select the Environment Level you want to format from the list.
- Click Add to format its label using the Environment Level Properties dialog.
- Set the Text Color, Text Outline, Background Color, and Text Size. Text Outline and Background Color can be turned on and off using the checkboxes. The Preview area shows changes.
- Click Save Changes to return to the Set Environment Level dialog.
To edit a format, click the Edit button in its row. The Environment Level Properties dialog opens. Make changes and save them.
To delete a format, click the Delete button in its row.

On the Environment Level tab located within the Application Settings window, administrators can help users identify which environment they are using by adding a label to the top-right corner of dashboard windows, as shown below. You must have the Manage Environment Level right to perform the actions described in this article.
To Create an Environment Level:
- From the Environment Level tab, click
Create new environment level button to open the Add/Edit Environment Level dialog.
- Enter the label name.

Configure the following:

Text Color

Background Color
-
Text Outline Color
-
Text Size (Small, Medium, or Big)
You can enable or disable the background and text outline using the checkboxes.

- Use the Preview area to view your changes.
- Click Save.
You can define and format a label even if it is not currently enabled. Use the Add/Edit Environment Level dialog to configure the appearance for each environment—this includes text color, optional text outline, and background color.
To turn on the label, select the label checkbox, then click the Display slider in the Environment Level tab.
Edit a Format

Select the label.

Click the Edit button from the Selected menu.

The Add/Edit Environment Level dialog opens.

Make your changes and click Save.
Delete a Format

Select the label.
-
Click the Delete button from the Selected menu.
- A confirmation dialog appears, click Yes, Delete to confirm or No, Keep to cancel.
