Create an EMS Topic

Version 11.2 and Earlier

To create an EMS Topic:

  1. Click the Add AddBt.png button in a Topic viewlet.  The Select Object Path window opens.
  2. Specify the object path of the new topic.
  3. Click Select path. The EMS Topic Create Window opens.
  4. Specify the configuration settings in the General tab of the new Topic.
    You can create your own properties on the Custom Attributes tab.
  5. Click Ok.

Version 12.x and Later

To create an EMS Topic:

  1. Click the Add EMS Topic Add button.png button in a Topic viewlet. The Select Object Path window opens.Select object WGS, Node and EMS Server.png
  2. Specify the object path of the new topic.
  3. Click Select path. The EMS Topic Create Window opens.

  4. Specify the configuration settings in the General tab of the new Topic.
    You can create your own properties on the Custom Attributes tab.
  5. After entering all required information, click Ok to create the Topic, or click Schedule to create the Topic at a later time (see Scheduling).
