You can create a Kafka Schema Subject Registers from a Schema Subject viewlet using the following process:
Create a Kafka Schema Subject Register
To create a Schema Subject Register:
- Open the Kafka Schema Subject viewlet.
- Click on the Add
button, the Select object path window opens.
- Specify the Workgroup server, Node, Cluster, and Schema registry, then click Select Path.
- The Kafka Schema Subject Register Create window will open.
- Enter the Subject Name (required) and select the Type and Mode from the dropdown list.
- If you select a mode other than READONLY, choose the Compatibility.
- Define the schema in the chosen format.

You can also add Schema References by following these steps:
- Go to the References tab and click the Add button.
- The Add Schema Subject Reference window will open. Enter the required details. For more information on schema references, refer to the Confluent developer documentation at https://docs.confluent.io/platform/current/schema-registry/serdes-develop/index.html#schema-references.
- Click Save Changes to confirm the reference.
- To remove a reference, click the Remove button.
- Click on Ok to save changes.

To create a Schema Subject Register:

- Click on the Add Kafka Schema Subject
button, the Select object path window opens.
- Specify the Workgroup server, Node, Cluster, and Schema registry, then click Select Path.
- The Kafka Schema Subject Register Create window will open.
- Enter the Subject Name (required) and select the Type and Mode from the dropdown list.
- If you select a mode other than READONLY, choose the Compatibility.
