RabbitMQ user objects show properties and metrics for RabbitMQ users.
To create a new user, do the following:
- Click
on a RabbitMQ Users viewlet.
- Select the path where you want the new user to be created. Click Select Path.
The RabbitMQ User Create window opens. - Enter a User Name.
- To add tags to this user, click
to make the tag entry field available. For more information about user tags, see https://www.rabbitmq.com/docs/management#permissions.
- Enter the tag and press Enter.
- Click OK to save the new user.
After the user is created, its properties are displayed in User Properties. The General and Status tabs are shown below.

RabbitMQ user objects show properties and metrics for RabbitMQ users.
Create a User
To create a new user:
- Click Add User
button in the User viewlet. The Select Object Path window opens.
- Specify the object path for the new User, then click Select path.
- The RabbitMQ User Create Window opens.
- Enter a User Name (Required).
- To add tags to this user, click
to make the tag entry field available. For more information about user tags, see https://www.rabbitmq.com/docs/management#permissions.
- Enter the tag.
- Click Ok to create the new User immediately. Alternatively, click Schedule to create it at a later time (see Scheduling for details).
- After creating a User, the User Properties dialog displays tabs such as General, Status, and Custom Attributes for detailed configuration.
To access these:

Select the User from the viewlet.

Click Properties from the Selected menu.
