Overview
Clients defined in node.properties file are automatically registered in the Client Registry each time the Domain service starts. This eliminates the need to manually create client records before configuring an AI agent in meshIQ Manage.
Register a client
- Open
naming/node.propertieson the Domain server. Add the client definition, for example:
property server.domain.client.registry.defined.clients = ai property server.domain.client.registry.defined.ai.name = meshIQ property server.domain.client.registry.defined.ai.secret = Agent@123
Save the
node.propertiesfile.- Restart the Domain service to apply the configuration.
- Log in to Enterprise Manager and select User > Client Record Manager.
Confirm the client appears with the expected Client ID and Client Name.
Register Multiple Clients
To register multiple clients, specify their IDs in the defined.clients property, separated by commas or spaces.
For example:
property server.domain.client.registry.defined.clients = client7 client8
Save the node.properties file and restart the Domain service. Each specified client is automatically registered as a separate entry in the Client Registry.
Update an existing client

naming/node.propertiesfile on the Domain server.Update the
nameand/orsecretvalues, for example:property server.domain.client.registry.defined.ai.name = meshIQ AI Agent property server.domain.client.registry.defined.ai.secret = AIAgent@123
- Save the file.
- Restart the Domain service.
