On the Monitors page, the Metric Trends feature provides a graphical view of recent metric data for the selected monitor. It helps users track system behavior, identify anomalies, and understand alert activity by displaying metric values along with configured thresholds, evaluation time windows, and matched values when rule conditions are met.
View Metric Trends
Navigate to the Monitors page.
Locate the required monitor.
In the Metric Trends column, click the Metric Trends
icon. The Metric Trends dialog opens.
To view a metric trend, select the required fields:
- Workgroup Server and Node Name (constant)
- Queue Manager Name and Queue Name (these fields may vary depending on the monitor’s category and type.)
Choose a Time Interval from the following options:
- Custom
- This Hour
- Last 3 Hours
- Last 10 Hours
- Today
- Last 3 Days
- Last 10 Days
- This Month
- Last 3 Months
If you select Custom, the Start and End fields become available, allowing you to manually select the required date and time range.
After selecting the required fields and time interval, click Search.
View the Trend Graph
If metric data is available for the selected criteria, the system displays the metric trend in a graphical format. Hover over a data point in the graph to view the metric details.
If no data is available, the message "No Metric Trend was found" appears, and the graph area remains empty.
