A Number Block widget displays a single aggregated value for a selected object. It is useful for showing key metrics such as totals, maximum values, averages, or minimum values in a compact format.
You can create a Number Block widget by:
Creating a new widget
Editing an existing widget
All supported objects that allow numeric aggregation can be displayed using a Number Block widget.
Create a New Number Block Widget
Click the Add Widget
button at the top-right of the dashboard.
The Create Widget dialog opens.Select Create Using Object Search or Create Temporary Using Search.
The Create New Widget dialog opens.From the Technology list, select the required technology.
From the left side of the dialog, select the required object type (for example, Node, Manager, Queue, or Channel).
From the Widget Type list, select Number Block.
Scroll to the bottom of the dialog and select the required aggregation function.
- The Number Block widget supports the following aggregation functions:
- Average
- Max
- Min
- Sum
- From the Value list, select the numeric attribute to which the aggregation function is applied (for example, Queue Depth or Instance Count).
Click Create.
The widget appears on the dashboard and displays the aggregated value based on your selection.
Viewing and Interacting with the Number Block Widget
After creation:
The widget displays a single aggregated value.
The widget title reflects the selected function and attribute (for example, Average of Current Depth or Max of Current Depth).
Drag the widget to reposition it within the dashboard.
Resize the widget for better visibility.
The value updates dynamically based on available data from the connected Remote Definition.
Additional Notes
Use the Number Block widget to highlight summary values.
Only numeric attributes are available in the Value dropdown.
If no matching data exists, the widget displays 0 or no value.
