Out-of-the-Box perspectives are predefined monitoring perspectives available from the Home page in Manage application.
These perspectives provide ready-to-use dashboards with preconfigured widgets and predefined data visualizations. They function as preconfigured templates that allow users to begin monitoring supported technologies immediately, without manually creating perspectives or dashboards.
The availability of Out-of-the-Box perspectives depends on the supported products being enabled. In addition, the application must have a valid connection to the corresponding product type to display dashboard data.
When a user logs in for the first time, Out-of-the-Box perspectives may appear in a disabled state until the corresponding technology is enabled by an administrator.
If an administrator enables the supported products, the perspectives appear in an enabled and ready-to-use state. To learn how to enable supported technologies, see Supported Products.

Customization of Out-of-the-Box Perspectives
You can customize Out-of-the-Box perspectives in the same way as other perspectives in Manage.
Supported customization capabilities include:
Creating and managing dashboards
Adding, modifying, or removing widgets
Changing dashboard layouts and widget types
Configuring widget settings and data views.
Out-of-the-Box perspectives function as baseline monitoring configurations. You can modify them to align with your operational and monitoring requirements.
Reset to the Original Layout
If a predefined perspective is modified, you can restore it to its original template. Any custom changes you made are removed, and the perspective resets to its default template state.
Out-of-the-Box perspectives remain accessible after a factory reset only when the corresponding supported product is enabled. If the supported product is disabled, contact your administrator to re-enable it.
To reset a perspective:
Navigate to the Home page.
Locate the Out-of-the-Box perspective you want to reset.
Click Perspective Options.
Select Factory Reset.
This restores the entire perspective, including its dashboards and widgets, to the default layout.
For information about setting a perspective as favorite or default, refer to User Perspectives.
