OCSP Trusted Names in Solace are used to validate client certificates through the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP). These trusted common names indicate which certificate authorities (CAs) are allowed when verifying certificate status. Managing OCSP trusted names ensures secure and accurate certificate validation for connecting clients.
A maximum of eight unique common names can be configured for each client certificate authority as valid OCSP responders.
Browse Existing OCSP Trusted Names
In the Client Certification Authority widget, select the authority you want to manage.
From the Selected menu, click on OCSP Trusted Names.
The OCSP Trusted Names tab opens in the Console, displaying all trusted common names configured for the selected Client Certification Authority. To learn how to add a new OCSP trusted name, see the instructions below.
Add a New OCSP Trusted Name
In the OCSP Trusted Names tab, click the Add OCSP Trusted Name
button.
The Solace Client Certificate Authority OCSP Trusted Common Name dialog opens.Enter the OCSP Trusted Common Name.
If needed, click + to add additional trusted names.
Click Ok to create the trusted name(s) immediately, or Schedule to apply them later.

Once added, the trusted names appear in the OCSP Trusted Names tab with their configured values.
Delete an OCSP Trusted Name
While browsing OCSP Trusted Names in the console, select the name you want to remove.
From the Selected menu, choose Delete. The Confirm Delete Action dialog opens.
Click Yes to delete immediately or Schedule to delete later.
