To create Queue Manager follow the steps below.

You can create a queue manager using either of the following methods:
From a Queue Manager widget, select the Queue Manager checkbox, then choose Create Queue Manager from the Selected menu. The Queue manager Create Window opens.
Click the Add Queue Manager
button in the Queue Manager widget. The Select Object Path dialog opens. Select the Workgroup Server and Node, then click Select path. The Queue manager Create Window opens.
- Once the window opens: Enter the new Queue Manager name (required) and populate other needed details.
- To make this the default queue manager for applications that do not specify one, enable the Make this default queue manager checkbox.
- Click Next to proceed.
- Update the options on the following windows as needed, then click Next.
- Update the options on the following windows as needed, then click Next.
- Update the options on the following windows as needed, then click Next.
- On the final screen, update remaining options as needed, then click Finish. The new queue manager is now created.
After a queue manager is created, you can view and modify its properties from a queue manager widget. See Queue Manager field descriptions for more information. You can also assign custom properties to it using the Custom Attributes tab.

To create a queue manager:
- From a Queue Manager viewlet, select Create Queue Manager from the pop-up menu to open the Queue Create Window.
- Enter the new queue manager name (required) and populate other needed details.
- If you would like this queue manager to be the default queue manager that applications connect to when there is no queue manager specified, enable the Make this default queue manager checkbox.
- Click Next and update options on the following windows as needed.
- Click Next.
- Click Next.
- Click Next.
- On the last screen, click Finish. The new queue manager is now created.
After a queue manager is created, you can view and modify its properties from a queue manager viewlet. See Queue Manager field descriptions for more information. You can also assign custom properties to it using the Custom Attributes tab.
