meshIQ Platform Manage release notes: v11.3.0 for multiple platforms

Prerequisite: To upgrade to version 11.3.0, the meshIQ Core base version must be 11.3.0, and Tomcat 10 is required.

The Core Services should be upgraded before upgrading Manage. See Core Services Release Notes.

ABOUT:

This package can be used to update an existing installation. Refer to the WGS Expert installation guide for the specific steps.

Users of nsqcmems.jar, please configure the tib.dir property in the nsqcmems.properties file. This property should have the value of the local Tibco EMS install library folder.

Installation Steps

  1. Stop all meshIQ processes (including CEP and the Domain Server).
  2. Back up the %APWMQ_HOME% directory and all existing database tables.
  3. Place the required files in the installation directory (%APWMQ_HOME%)
  4. Untar the following packages into %APWMQ_HOME%, replacing existing content:
    • manage-11.3.0.tar.gz 
    • secure-11.3.0.tar.gz
    • nsqcm-11.3.tar.gz
  5. Run pkgman to install the WGS-11.3.pkg package.
    • If this is a new installation, also install any additional packages such as resource packs, the scheduler, and experts.
  6. Run nsqjdbcmk to upgrade your database tables.
  7. Copy the Manage and Secure WAR files to your Tomcat webapps folder.
  8. Restart all meshIQ processes.
  9. Finalize any setup for WGS operation, including configuration of WGS, REST API, and the scheduler.
