There are six default (or native) users in the Security Manager. Descriptions of these users are provided below:
| UserName | User Group Name | Description |
| ADMIN | Administrators | A privileged user who can perform all operations in the Navigator/Manage UI. Typically used by the product administrator. |
| ADMINISTRATOR | Administrators | Functionally identical to the ADMIN user. Provided as an additional account for the product administration team. |
| DEVELOPER | Developers | Intended for message administrators. Can perform all operations expected of a message admin in the Navigator/Manage UI. |
| OPERATOR | Operators | Intended for message browsers. Can perform all operations expected of a message browser in the Navigator/Manage UI. |
| VIEWER | Viewers | Has read-only access. Cannot perform operations such as create, delete, or update. |
| SYSTEM | *Agents | An internal user account used for communication between various system components. |
