By default, the RabbitMQ server cluster name is derived from the name of the first node in the cluster, but you can change it. Doing so changes the name of the cluster only, not the name of any objects within it.
To change a server cluster name:
- Select the check box for the server and select Set Cluster Name from the Action menu (Selected menu in 11.2).
- Enter the new name.
- Click OK.

Version 12.x and Later
By default, the RabbitMQ server cluster name is derived from the name of the first node in the cluster, but you can change it. Doing so changes the name of the cluster only, not the name of any objects within it.
To change a server cluster name:
- Select the check box for the server and select Set Cluster Name from the Selected menu.
- Enter the new name.
- Click OK to change the server name immediately.
