Workgroup Server Rights – meshIQ

This article covers role management rights that pertain to Workgroup Servers.

Access All Projects	projects_access_all	Allows users to select All from the Project list on the main screen of Navigator. When All is selected, users can view data from all User Groups that they belong to.
Add/Remove Default Connection	ADD_REMOVE_DEFAULT_CONNECTION	Gives users the ability to add or remove default connections.
Approve Scheduled Job	EXCMD_APPROVE_JOB	Gives users the ability to approve scheduled jobs.
Cancel Scheduled Job	EXCMD_CANCEL_JOB	Allows users to cancel scheduled jobs.

Display Queue Accounting	EXCMD_INQUIRE_ACCT_Q	Allows users to view MQ queue accounting.
Display Queue Statistics	EXCMD_INQUIRE_STAT_Q	Allows users to view the statistics of MQ queues.
Execute MQSC Command Shell (Execute Command Shell in v11)	EXCMD_EXECUTE_SHELL_CMD	Allows users to execute the command shell. Command shell is specific to running commands via the REST interface.
Find Object (Required)	EXCMD_LOCATE_OBJECT	Allows users to see objects.
Inquire Active Workgroup (required)	EXCMD_INQUIRE_ACTIVE_MANAGER	Allows users to see connection details for the workgroup server.
Inquire Communication Session Information	EXCMD_INQUIRE_SESSION	Allows the user to view a list of active workgroup server connections.
Inquire Job ServiceNow	EXCMD_INQUIRE_JOB_SERVICE_NOW_DATA	Allows users to inquire ServiceNow for job details.
Inquire List of Scheduled Job	EXCMD_INQUIRE_JOB_LIST	Allows users to get a list of scheduled jobs.
Inquire Metrics	EXCMD_INQUIRE_METRICS	Allows users to see the workgroup server metrics, located on the Performance tab of WGS Properties. Only Administrators should have this right.
Inquire Remote EMS Manager	EXCMD_INQUIRE_RMTEMS	Allows users to view a specific remote EMS manager.
Inquire Remote EMS Manager Names	EXCMD_INQUIRE_RMTEMS_NAMES	Allows users to view a list of the remote EMS managers that exist.
Inquire Remote Queue Manager	EXCMD_INQUIRE_RMTQMGR	Allows users to view a specific remote manager.
Inquire Remote Queue Manager Names	EXCMD_INQUIRE_RMTQMGR_NAMES	Allows users to view a list of the remote queue managers that exist.
Inquire Scheduled Job	EXCMD_INQUIRE_JOB	Allows users to see the details for a specific scheduled job.
Node Registration	EXCMD_REGISTER_MQNODE	Allows the agent (user with the agent role) to register itself with the workgroup server at startup.
Reload Permits	EXCMD_RELOAD_PERMITS	Not applicable.
Schedule Job	EXCMD_SCHEDULE_JOB	Allows users to schedule jobs.
Show RabbitMQ Remote Manager	EXCMD_INQUIRE_RABBITMQ_RMT	Allows users to view the details of a specific remote Rabbit MQ manager.
Show RabbitMQ Remote Manager Names	EXCMD_INQUIRE_RABBITMQ_RMT_NAMES	Allows users to view a list of the remote Rabbit MQ managers that exist.
Show Remote ACE(IIB) Manager	EXCMD_INQUIRE_ACE_RMT	Allows users to view a specific remote ACE/IIB manager.
Show Remote ACE(IIB) Managers	EXCMD_INQUIRE_ACE_RMT_NAMES	Allows users to view a list of the remote ACE/IIB managers that exist.
Show Remote Kafka Manager	EXCMD_INQUIRE_KAFKA_RMT	Allows users to view a specific remote Kafka manager.
Show Remote Kafka Managers	EXCMD_INQUIRE_KAFKA_RMT_NAMES	Allows users to view a list of the remote Kafka managers that exist.

Show Workgroup Server Attributes	EXCMD_INQUIRE_MANAGER	Allows users to view workgroup server attributes. This is required for all users.
Shutdown Workgroup Server or Node	EXCMD_SHUTDOWN_MANAGER	Gives users the ability to shutdown workgroup servers or nodes.
Start All Workgroup Server Objects	EXCMD_START_MANAGER	Gives users the ability to start workgroup server objects.
Start Discovery	EXCMD_MQ_DISCOVER	Allows users to start a discovery cycle.
Stop All Workgroup Server Objects	EXCMD_STOP_MANAGER	Gives users the ability to stop workgroup server objects.
Subscribe to Channel Stats	MQCMD_STATISTICS_CHANNEL	Allows users to subscribe to channel status events.
Subscribe to MQI Accounting	MQCMD_ACCOUNTING_MQI	Allows user to turn on MQI under Accounting Data Collection on the queue manager properties Monitoring tab. If an agent is running as a user without this permission, then the workgroup server will not store the MQI accounting data.
Subscribe to MQI Stats	MQCMD_STATISTICS_MQI	Allows user to turn on MQI under Statistical Data Collection on the queue manager properties Monitoring tab. If an agent is running as a user without this permission, then the workgroup server will not store the MQI statistical data.
Subscribe to Queue Accounting	MQCMD_ACCOUNTING_Q	Allows users to subscribe to Queue Accounting events.
Subscribe to Queue Stats	MQCMD_STATISTICS_Q	Allows users to subscribe to Queue Stats events.
Validate RestAPI Access for user	EXCMD_VALIDATE_REST_API_ACCESS	Allows one user to find out whether another user has the right to perform a given action through the REST API (yes or no).
