The ActiveMQ Connection widget provides several actions for monitoring and managing connection objects. These actions allow users to view connection attributes, check operational status, control connection activity, and reset statistics as needed.
To access connection widget actions, select a connection and click the Selected menu to view the available options.
Show Object Attributes
Select Show Object Attributes from the Selected menu. The Attributes tab opens in the Console, displaying detailed information about the selected connection’s configuration and attributes.

Show Status
Select Show Status from the Selected menu. The Status tab opens in the Console, displaying real-time operational details of the selected connection.
Commands > (submenu)
The Commands submenu provides options to manage connection operations, including statistics management and connection control.
Statistics Reset
Select Commands > Statistics Reset.
The Confirm Statistics Reset Action dialog opens. Click Yes to reset all monitored statistics for the selected connection, such as traffic counters, producer and consumer counts, and connection uptime metrics.
Start
Select Commands > Start.
The Confirm Start Connection Action dialog opens. Click Yes to start the selected connection and resume communication between producers and consumers.
Stop
Select Commands > Stop.
The Confirm Stop Connection Action dialog opens. Click Yes to stop the selected connection. This pauses all message flow and temporarily disables activity on that connection.
Stopping a connection will interrupt active producers and consumers associated with it.
Force Update
Select Force Update from the Selected menu.
This action refreshes the connection widget to retrieve and display the most recent data from the server.
Events
Select Events from the Selected menu.
This option displays recent connection-related events, such as state changes, disconnections, or reconnections.

Add to Favorites
Select Add to Favorites from the Selected menu.
This action adds the selected producer to your Favorites list for quick access in future sessions.
