Edit Messages

Version 12.x and Later

The Edit Messages dialog appears when you select the desired messages in the Console tab and either click the Edit Message  icon or choose Edit Message from the Selected menu. It is used to edit the message information and data.  

Kafka, EMS, and ActiveMQ queue messages cannot be edited.

Version 11.3 and Earlier

The Edit message window is displayed when Edit is selected from the message’s Action menu (Selected menu in 11.2) or by clicking the Edit icon CnsEditMsgBt.png on the Messages viewlet (EditMsgBt.png in previous versions).  It is used to edit the message information and data.  

Kafka, EMS, and alias queue messages cannot be edited.
