To export a widget's data:
- Select Export data to CSV from the widget's menu.
- By default, the export file includes extra whitespace (from one to three spaces) after the Manager Name, Node Name, and other fields. A prompt is displayed to ask you whether you want to exclude the extra spaces:
- Click Yes to remove the white spaces, or No to leave them in the file.
A CSV file will automatically be saved to your Downloads folder. It will contain all data that appears in the widget.
This file can then be used to create a new widget. See Creating Widgets in the Dashboard.
When you export a widget (such as Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Number, Metric Trends, or Table), the system preserves the widget type in the CSV file. When you use this file to create a new widget, it creates the same widget type.
