Resume a queue manager in a cluster membership to inform other queue managers in the cluster that it is available again for processing and can be sent messages. It reverses the suspend action.
How to Resume a Queue Manager
- In the Queue Manager widget, select the queue manager by selecting the checkbox next to its name.
- From the Selected menu, choose Cluster Membership > Resume.
- The Resume Cluster Membership dialog opens. Select the cluster from the drop-down menu, then click OK.
- The queue manager is now available to the cluster.

How to Resume a Queue Manager
- In a queue manager viewlet, select the queue manager by clicking the box immediately to the left of its name. Please note, you can select multiple queue managers. From the action menu (Selected menu in 11.2), select Cluster membership > Resume.
- The Resume Cluster Membership window opens. Select the cluster from the drop-down menu and click Ok.
- The queue manager is now available to the cluster.
