A Favorite Objects widget is a widget that contains shortcuts to your “favorite” objects—objects that you frequently monitor or manage. Adding objects to a Favorite Objects widget provides quick access to them.
A Favorite Objects widget is identified by a yellow star icon displayed before the widget name. Shortcuts for different types of objects can be added (for example, channels, local queues, and queue managers). However, all objects must belong to the same workgroup server. You can create multiple Favorite Objects widgets for a single workgroup server.
All standard object actions can be performed from the widget, such as browsing messages, starting or stopping channels, and starting or stopping queue managers.
The following screenshot shows an example of a Favorite Objects widget.
