Export data (Security Manager)

From the Export Data option, you can create a data backup of your entire Security Manager configuration or export security definitions for selected objects in JSON or CSV format. 

Create a data backup

1. Select Export Data from the menu. The Export WSM dialog opens.
2. Select Data Backup.
3. Click OK. A .json file is downloaded to your browser. The file name begins with wsm_backup_ followed by a numerical value.
   
4. Choose the open file option (varies by browser). This file contains a backup of all data. 
   

Export data by groups

1. Select Export Data from the menu. The Export WSM dialog opens.
2. Select Export Data (By Groups).
   
3. Click OK. The Export WSM Data dialog opens.
   
4. Select the file type that you want to store exported data in: JSON or CSV.
5. Select the checkboxes of the items you want to export. The items that can be reimported are marked with "true" in the Can Be Imported column.
6. Click Export. A JSON or CSV file will be downloaded automatically. It will contain all data from the selected items.
