Viewlet Action/Selected Menus
Each viewlet in a dashboard includes access to action menus ( Selected menu from version 11.2 onwards).
When you click on the check box immediately to the left of an object within a viewlet, the action menu becomes available. The box will remain checked until you collapse the viewlet, change dashboards, or click the check box again to clear it.
Note that the menu is transparent when your mouse is not hovering over it. This makes it easier to view other objects when selecting multiple objects.
The menu becomes fully visible when your mouse is hovering over it.
When multiple objects are selected, you can click on the in the header to uncheck all selected objects.
You can check the header check box to select all objects in the viewlet (a white checkmark
is displayed) and clear it to deselect all objects.
The header check box may not be available if there are too many objects in the viewlet. The number of queue managers that can be selected in this way is limited by the Bulk Select Max options: Restricted objects in global user setting. The number of other objects in a viewlet that can be selected in this way is limited by the General objects setting. (From version 12.0 onwards, both settings under Bulk Select Max Options are located in Application Settings > General Settings within the Settings dialog.)
Select a Project
Each viewlet includes a Projects list that controls what can be seen in the viewlet.
By default, the Projects list in a viewlet includes the unique descriptions of all user groups that you can view.
If you have been assigned a role with the right to Access All Projects (such as the Administrator role), then in addition to the All selection, your Project list may include the descriptions of certain user groups, to allow you to replicate the experience of users in those groups. See the definition of Principle Name in the user group management security article for more information.
When All is selected, you can click the arrow next to the list arrow to show the workgroup server that you're connected to.
If you have more than one workgroup server connection, each one is listed, and you can switch between them.
