You can search registered schema registry information by selecting the Schema Registry menu on the left side of the screen.
If there is no registered schema registry, see the instructions below.
Schema registry registration
You can register a new schema registry using the Schema Registry Cluster Register button shown above. The schema registry can operate as a schema registry cluster by grouping one or more servers together for fault tolerance.
- Cluster name. Schema registry cluster name. Choose a distinguishable name regardless of the Kafka cluster name.
- Hosts. List of servers belonging to the schema registry cluster.
Host registration
You can add a new host to the schema registry cluster using the Add Host button. Add as many hosts as are connected to the cluster.
- IP Address. Schema registry server IP address.
- Port. Schema Registry Server Service Port.
- HTTP Basic Authentication: If the schema registry has default HTTP authentication enabled, check the box to allow you to enter authentication.
- Username. User name when authenticated to schema registry.
- Password. Password when authenticated in schema registry.
- Metric Setting
- JMX Metric. Enable/disable JVM metrics collection toggle. Enables Schema Metric port input.
- Node Metric. Enable/disable node metrics collection toggle. Enables Use Node Metric port input.
