Connect cluster registration

You can view registered Connect cluster information by selecting the Kafka Connect menu on the left side of the screen.

Connect Cluster Registration

You can register a new Connect Cluster using the Connect Cluster Register button shown above. The schema registry can operate as a schema registry cluster by grouping one or more servers together for fault tolerance.

  • Cluster name. Connect cluster name. Choose a distinguishable name regardless of the Kafka cluster name.
  • Worker. List of servers belonging to the Connect cluster.

Register worker nodes

You can add a new worker node to the Connect cluster using the Add Worker button. Add as many hosts as are connected to the cluster.

  • IP Address. Kafka Connect worker node IP address.
  • Port. Worker node service port.
  • Metric Setting:
    • Use JMX Metric. Enable/disable JVM metrics collection. port input
    • Use Node Metric. Enable/disable node metrics collection. port input
