meshIQ Kafka Console stores collected data. You can set a desired data retention period. However, because the amount of metric data collected per unit of time depends on the free space on the disk and the size and number of clusters being monitored, adherence to the retention period cannot be guaranteed.
Some meshIQ Kafka Console pages provide metric data history graphs. All history graphs can be enlarged, reduced, or narrowed down to a specific time frame.
You can change the portion of the graph being displayed using the data display settings at the top of the history graph page. Changes to the start and end time are immediately applied to the graph.
You can zoom in or out on each history graph using the icons above it.
- Drag over the desired section in the history graph with the mouse to enlarge it.
The graph is redrawn to focus on the selected area:
- Use the data display settings described below to graph a specific time frame.
To reset all graphs on the page to their initial state, use the Reset button on the upper right.
Display settings
To access display settings, click the field that shows the current timeframe:
Use the timeframe selections on the left to update all graphs on the page accordingly.
- Preset options are Last 1 hour, Last 12 hours, Last 24 hours, Today, This week, or This month.
- A Custom option is available to select exact dates and times. When you have completed your selections, click Apply.
